St.Albans Tastes

St.Albans Tastes Music

Watch local, buy local, play local, listen local.

We have some incredibly talented musicians across genres playing live in a fantastic venues such as the Horn, Hare & Hounds, the Boot, The Lower Red Lion, Ye Olde Fighting Cocks and the Farmers Boy. Our magnificent churches, including the St Albans Cathedral also nature local talent. If your are in our town you might hear anything from classical Bach to classic Zeppelin.

Favourite radio stations who champion local music area Radio Verulam and North Herts FM and we adore independent podcast shows including Andreas and the Wolf. Our own Denise Parsons is a well known public figure as the Queen of Local Music. She will keep you informed on what’s good right here on the doorstep and has a ‘knows for whats good’ in the greater Herts areas.

“We are proud to be 80’s gals so whether it is punk, indie, alternative, Americana, Celtic and great rock music, we love it all and we love it loud! St.Albans is the heart of Hertfordshire music history thanks to the vibrant pub life, opening doors for great bands such as the Zombies.”
